Coastal Geology Group
 - an affiliation of researchers, technicians and graduate students within the Department of Geology and Geophysics that conducts investigations of shoreline change, carbonate geology, reef geology, sedimentology and coastal morphodynamics.

- sequential order from Kaena Point on the north shore, clockwise around the island, to Yokohama Beach on the leeward coast, with Flat Island and the Mokulua islands last
