History of changes to the Version 3 (Year 2000) software:

Sept 2, 1998: Bug in output of harmsss.lis (sss:station)
              corrected so station number would be correct.
              Also make column headings aligned.
Sep 22, 1998: Minor corrections to typos in the manual.

Nov 04, 1998: An error was found in Program DTDCNV.FOR
              (within \SLPR2\DIN).  The program incorrectly
              searched for file \SLPRC\DIN\STAINFO.DIN.  The
              path was corrected to \SLPR2\DIN\STAINFO.DIN.

              The title of plot program HOURYR was changed
              from "Hourly Residual Plot Program" to
              "Hourly Plot Program for Observed, Residual,
               and Predicted Files."

Nov 13, 1998: Thanks to Bryan Ward of the Royal New Zealand 
              Navy Hydrographic Office, who pointed out that
              the tidal analysis could not handle input from
              Port Nelson, which has roughly a 3.5 m tidal 
              range during spring tides.  A parameter in
              FITTIDE.FOR (/SLPR2/TIDE/SRC) was set such
              that when the difference between two successive
              hourly values exceeded 1 meter, the analysis
              would abort (assuming data in error).  For
              the new version, this parameter was set to
              a value of 2500.  The executable, FITTIDE.EXE,
              is available in this directory if you would 
              like to have a version that handles extreme
              tidal ranges.

Dec 28, 1998: The columns in file HARMsss.LIS (sss:station id)
              were mislabeled.  The AL and GL should have been
              A and G.  The last two columns, A and GNWCH
              are now correctly labeled AL and GL.  The
              predictions are based on A and G, the same as
              the version 1.0 and 2.0 of this software.

Jul 12, 2000: Program CHUNIT.FOR, which changes the units
              for a given file, was modified to allow
              crossover into a new century.  The original
              Y2K version required one to run the program
              separately for each century.  

Aug 18, 2006: Bug in Filthr when more than 14 years run, would
              make single day value blank.  Fixed.  Also add
              FILTHR2 (in /src) that makes a second monthly 
              output file with counts of missing days per month
