It charged up correctly and managed to hold a charge properly. The MPAK itself was another issue. It kept entering an error state even though I could communicate with it and put it to sleep. My guess is that there is a problem with the flashcard. I think the MPAK is unable to write to it properly. when taking the MPAK out of sleep mode, it would turn on correctly. Only latter does it freeze up.
