HOT-185 Optics Readme file NOTE: The MPAK battery bulkhead connector was changed because a pin had broken off within it. This required the connector from the charger to be changed as well because it was a 4-pin male and the new battery bulkheader connector is a 2-pin female. 9/14/06 Charging FRRF & MPAK batteries 9/15/06 Checking FRRF : - time OK - voltage = 14.21V (?) - formatting flashcard Checking MPAK : - voltage low, charging again 9/16/06 Cleaned AC-9 windows : Checking MPAK : - voltage still low * There is a problem with either the MPAK battery &/or the charger. The light on the charger turns from green to orange when charging and back to green when fully charged. Recently, the light is usually green, but turns orange when you fiddle around with the charging cable (is there a loose wire?). The light quickly (within minutes) turns green again. Fiddling with the cable turns it orange again. On the battery side, it seems to charge, but quickly discharges. Since the core was recently exchanged, I'm assuming this symptom is being caused by the bad(?) charger. - Unable to sufficiently charge battery!
