HOT-143 Optics Readme file 12/17/02 Checked AC-9 : 820 - reset clock - voltage = 12 V, NOT recharging - cleared memory Checked FRRF : 837 - time & date OK - voltage = 14.77 V, NOT recharging - reformatting flashdisk TSRB cast : 1332 - There was a problem with the new DELL laptop. After about 10 minutes of logging, the graphical data display locked up. The program appeared to be logging, but the plot wasn't being updated. I managed to save the file, but I don't know if the data is correct or not. Switching to older "Karl" computer for future TSRB casts. 12/19/02 AC-9/FRRF cast - in:1245, down:1254, up:1319, out:1350 - depth : ~240m using 280m line & capstan - rate : ~10 m/min - weather : 15-20 kt winds, 6-8 ft waves, 2/8 clouds - voltage : 11.9 V - files : run.000, pro1h143.bin Calibrating AC-9 : 1415 - temp = 24.9 C - files : run.002, 19dec02a1.dat, 19dec02a2.dat, 19dec02a3.dat, 19dec02c1.dat Multiple calibrations were done for the A-cell due to spikes caused by what I assume were bubbles in the lines. I would use the 'a3' file. 12/20/02 AC-9/FRRF cast - in:258, down:306, up:331, out:400 (night) - depth : ~240m using 280m line & capstan - rate : ~10 m/min - weather : 1-3 kt winds - voltage : 11.4 V - files : run.004, pro2h143.bin Downloading AC-9 data : 418 - run.000, run.002, run.004 Re-charging AC-9 : 442-1200 AC-9/FRRF cast (w/o filter) - in:1257, down:1303, up:1328, out:1356 - depth : ~240m using 280m line & capstan - rate : ~10 m/min - weather : 2-4 kt winds, 5/8 clouds - files : run.006, pro3h143.bin AC-9/FRRF cast (w/ filter) - in:1402, down:1408, up:1433, out:1500 - depth : ~240m using 280m line & capstan - rate : ~10 m/min - weather : 1-3 kt winds, 4-6 ft waves, 5/8 clouds - voltage : 10.7 V - files : run.007, pro3h143.bin Downloaded AC-9 data : 1513 - run.006, run.007 Downloaded FRRF data : 1537 - pro1h143.bin, pro2h143.bin, pro3h143.bin - voltage = 14.36 V
