Notes for NCAR data: 1) Data submitted is potentially subject to small calibration and offset (blank) adjustments. 2) All data is included with the exception of some with analytical problems. 3) The measurements indicate contamination, particularly in the first few days for some (but not all!!) compounds. The cause of this contamination is unknown, but seems to be related to the lab where the pump was located. Data after day 250 appears much better. If you have questions about what might be real vs artifact, contact E. Atlas. (atlas@ucar.edu). 4) I have included alkenes with the canister data, but there are known potential artifacts with alkenes measured from canisters. 5) Times for the canisters are the initial open time (Hawaii local). It took several minutes to flush and fill a can. Times for the cartridges are the starting time of the 30 minute collection period (also Hawaii local time). 6) All concentrations are pptv.
